This weekend my son and I were on our way to the park to take a walk.
He was sitting in the backseat of the car enjoying a purple (grape) lollipop that he had earned for reaching the next milestone on his potty chart.
He was quite pleased with his prize selection, and he asked me, “does Jesus love purple lollipops, Dada?”
I thought for a moment before responding “I’m sure that he does!” because “Jesus loves all colors…”
Moments later, the power of that simple statement hit me as my son began to recite “Jesus loves…” followed by every single color that he could think of….
“Jesus loves blue…”
“Jesus loves brown…”
“Jesus loves white…”
“Jesus loves black…”
“Jesus loves yellow…”
“Jesus loves green…”
“Jesus loves red…”
Yes my son, He loves them ALL.
